Water coming from underground
This amazing colour photo should eliminate any doubt. It is obvious that liquid water is seeping from the ground in this location and flowing downhill carving fretted valleys in the sandy surface. The sharpness of the erosion indicates that this is a very recent event as wind erosion has not yet faded the features.
